How to Register your Pre-Paid Copy of Metron-PX
Introduction
Thanks
for buying Metron! All
copies of Metron must be “Registered” which is a process
which locks Metron to one particular computer.
So if you have more than one computer, its time to think
about which one you want Metron on!
If, at a later date, you need to move Metron to another
computer, just contact us at support@eponatech.com
How to Register Metron
1)
Install
Metron from the CD.
Installing from the CD is easy. Just put the CD into your CD drive and it should
start up by itself. Just
follow the directions. By
default, it will suggest installing Metron on your C: drive in
a folder called “Epona”. You should just use this default unless you
don’t have enough space on C:, or some other good reason.
When
installed, Metron is initially in “Trial Mode” until
you register it.
2)
Start
up Metron. In the “top-bar”
(the menus across the very top of the screen) click on the “Register” option, and then
choose the “Pre-Paid” choice.
This will bring up the panel shown below:

If
you have an internet connection, you should get connected, and
then click on the button labeled “Send Request via Web-Site”. If for some reason, that method doesn’t
work (e.g. you don’t have a web-browser!) then use the "Print
Request" option and fax us the form. If all else fails, just
call us at (805) 239-3505 and we'll get you going.
Now you have to wait for us to send you back an “Unlock
Code”. It is generally
sent by e-mail, so make sure your e-mail address is given correctly.
4)
Once
you get the Unlock Code from us, type it into the blank field
near the bottom of the panel and click the "OK"
button.
5)
Use
the “Check Status” choice under the “Register”
pull-down to check! You’re done!
