How to Register your Pre-Paid Copy of Metron-U

Introduction

All copies of Metron-U must be “Registered” which is a process which locks Metron-U to one particular computer. So if you have more than one computer, its time to think about which one you want Metron on! When you register, the Unlock Code we send you will only unlock Metron on the computer you use to request the Unlock Code. If, at a later date, you need to move Metron to another computer, just contact us at support@eponatech.com

How to Register Metron

1) Install Metron from the CD. Installing from the CD is easy. Just put the CD into your CD drive and it should start up by itself. Just follow the directions. (If it doesn’t start within 20 seconds or so, open your CD Rom drive and double-click on the file called eponau.exe). By default, it will suggest installing Metron on your C: drive in a folder called “EponaU”. You should just use this default unless you don’t have enough space on C:, or some other good reason. When installed, Metron is initially in “Trial Mode” until you register it.

2) Start up Metron. If the computer you are registering Metron on is not connected to the internet skip to step #5 below.

3) In the “top-bar” (the menus across the very top of the screen) click on the “Register” option, and then choose the “Pre-Paid” choice. When you click the button labelled “Request Unlock Code” your browser will be launched and you will be at our web-site where you fill out a form to request the Unlock Code.

4) If you successfully filled out the web-site form, skip to step #6 below.

5) For computers not connected to the internet, click on the “Register” option in the top-bar, and then choose “Unlock…”. The panel that pops up shows your “Registration Number” – you must get this number to us at EponaTech so that we can give you your Unlock Code. You can e-mail it to info@eponatech.com, or fax it to us at (507) 258-1336, or call us at (866) 376-6283 and read it to us over the phone. The Registration Number and the Unlock Code consist of letters, numbers, and possibly the “$” and “#” symbols.

6) Once we receive you registration information, you will get the Unlock Code from us, generally by e-mail. To enter it, choose the “Unlock…” choice under “Register” in the top-bar, and enter the Unlock Code in the space provided. Then click on the “Enter this Unlock Code” button.

7) Use the “Check Status” choice under the “Register” pull-down to check if you are now unlocked and ready to go.
