About Us

EponaTech is on a mission to improve the soundness of the horse.

Monique Craig, President

Monique has been engaged in researching the hoof for the past 13 years. She founded EponaTech in 1999 in hopes of offering helpful products to vets, farriers, and owners. She founded EponaShoe in 2003 to develop a new flexible horse shoe. She rides, trains, and shoes horses, and has also been acting as a farrier-consultant over the past several years. She holds a BS degree in computer science engineering, has won awards as an artist (sculpture and painting), and is tri-lingual.

John Craig, Chief Engineer (with Smirnoff & Monique)

John holds a Phd in engineering from Stanford University and is well-know in the robotics community. He is the author of the leading Robotics Textbook used at the university level for teaching the mathematics and mechanical engineering aspects of industrial robots.
